Samsung Galaxy S4 the newest kid on the smartphone block would soon have a 'Made in India' tag. Samsung India's Mobile and Digital Imaging Country Head Vineet Taneja told PTI the company will soon start its production at the Noida facility.
The Samsung India's Noida facility manufactures about 35-40 million phones annually, including 12 smartphones like Galaxy S3. International Data Corporation a top global Research Analysis firm revealed that mobile phone market in India rose 16% and reached 218 million units in 2012. The smartphones alone contributed 16.3 million units to this showing a growth of whopping 48%.

Samsung Galaxy S4 launched on April 26, 2013 is priced at Rs 41,500 for its 16GB variant. It is currently imported from South Korea. The company has entered a tie-up with Vodafone for this feature-packed Galaxy S4 smartphone for both pre-paid and post-paid tariff plans. Samsung is also offering EMI option for this phone.
Mobile smartphone market is heating up with this amazing new entrant and soon Noida would be the manufacturing base for it too.
