Brave Cops of Noida Police

The brave cop of Noida Samarjeet Singh with a shining track record was recently promoted out-of-turn to Inspector rank. Noida SSP Dr Preetinder Singh unravelled the rank in a pipping ceremony at the Police Department. Samarjeet Singh, Sub-Inspector of 1998 batch, originally belongs to Gorakhpur. In 2008, during his tenure as SO Indirapuram, Ghaziabad police station he killed two notorious bank looters Pawan alias Goldy and Neeraj Gupta in an encounter. Later he was awarded the  prestigious Police Medal for Gallantry in 2012. Presently he is appointed as Station House Officer (SHO) - Jewar.

Earlier in 2012 the former SSP and present Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Gautam Buddh Nagar Jyoti Narayan and then Superintendent of Police (SP) City Anant Dev Tiwari were conferred with the Police Medals for Gallantry on the occasion of Republic Day for their exemplary courage and impeccable service record. This is one of the highest Medal issued by Ministry of Home Affairs announced every year on the Republic Day for outstanding services in the Police Department.

DIG Jyoti Narayan is well-known for his clean image and tough decision-making persona in the Uttar Pradesh IPS Cadres. SSP Anant Dev has a remarkable record of gunning down several criminals, dacoits and terrorists during his tenure in state's Special Task Force (STF). He has been awarded this highest Gallantry medal three times earlier. In 2009 he was presented with Chief Minister's Outstanding Service Medal for the encounter of notorious dacoit Dadua. He currently holds the appointment of SSP Amethi.

    1. We certainly need to recognize the good work done by these people..its because of their contribution the society is a safe place to live in and system has a semblance of respectability.

  3. The police of our country can be so contradictory at times. Here, they are being awarded for bravery and in Gujarat, they are raping homosexual men...
