Healthskool Clinic at Amrapali Eden Park in association with Noida Authority launched a cleanliness drive in Sector 50, Noida.
The Cleanliness Drive inspired the locals to come in good numbers to lend support to the initiative. Clean Noida, Green Noida is (and should be) every Noida residents' motto in the town. PM Modi's Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan is a paradigm that should be replicated in every corner of the country. A team member of the cleanliness drive told us, "As said by PM Modi, cleanliness is the first step towards a healthy and progressive society, so our team took a step forward to keep the neighborhood clean."
The Cleanliness Drive was a huge success with enthusiastic participation by more than 20 people in and around the area who took part in the initiative. The drive was initiated in front of Healthskool Clinic at Sector 50. More than 40 kilograms of garbage was lifted from the street sides including broken tiles, polythene bags and other non-biodegradable waste. The founder of Healthskool, Akshay Navaladi who organized this cleanliness drive mentioned that the team was feeling really good to be able to give back to the neighborhoods around their clinics in such a direct manner. He also said, "Good health and wellness begin with maintaining our environment and such initiatives also serve as a great opportunity for team building and informal interaction with residents."
Cleanliness Drive volunteers included Neha Rana, Bhawna Gola, Ritu Singh, Sankalp Shanker, Yoshita Agrawal, Udit Agarwal, Riva Anirvaan, Charu Mahendru from Healthskool along with sanitation inspector of Noida Authority, KV Singh.

ReplyDeleteThese types of activities are the the need of the hour.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful initiative. Another thing required is tree planting. The alarming rate at which our cities are losing green cover is scary. We need a tree planting and tree saving drive now.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree on this. There is one tree planting drive that is held annually in Noida on the occasion of Van Mahotsav. You can read the post here
